Most people, whenever they hear the word CEO, they automatically think at some old guys, doing nothing else but standing in an office, writing checks and signing documents. Well, it’s not always like that, as nowadays, there are a lot of young CEOs, leading top companies from a very young age.

In fact, we did a bit a research and made a short list with three of the youngest CEOs under 30. Curious already? Let’s begin!

3. Pete Cashmore – Founder of Mashable

Born on September 19, 1985, Pete founded Mashable 10 years ago, when we has working even 18 hours per day, as he had to write all the content for the website. Seven years later, some rumors were pointing to CNN being interested in buying the website for $200 million, but he remained CEO.

Pete Cashmore’s current net worth is around $95 million, so we have all the reasons to include him in our youngest CEOs under 30 top.

2. Evan Spiegel – CEO and co-founder of Snapchat

Snapchat is already one of the most popular photo-sharing apps in the world, even though it was founded just four years ago, by Evan Spiegel, now 25, in his father’s living room.

Spiegel already declined a $3 billion offer from Mark Zuckerberg and his app continued to grow. Snapchat now has over 50 million users and his net worth is around $1.5 billion. not bad, huh?

1. Palmer Luckey – Founder of Oculus VR

This guy looks more like your average game than one of the youngest CEOs under 30, being born in 1992. He managed to develop the first Oculus Rift prototype in his parents’ garage, back in 2009, while in 2012, his company raised $2.4 million on a Kickstarter campaign.

After raising $91 million in 2013, Facebook finally buys Oculus in 2014, for a whooping $2 billion.
