Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S7, should make its debut in the upcoming weeks and, like it happens when such a major device is expected to be announced, the leaks related to it are appearing basically every day.

Until now, we have an overall idea about what the phone will be hiding under the hood, as well as the design, which is rumored to be similar to the company’s previous flagship, the Galaxy S6.

The phone will be available in three variants

The Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature the same 5.1″ display and it will be available in a regular and Edge version. Also, the Galaxy S7 Edge+ should also be introduced, with a 5.7″ panel, but there’s no details about the date when this will happen.

Speaking about launch dates, one of the most well-known (and accurate in the same time) tipsters, Evan Blass, known as @evleaks, revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be released in the United States on March 11.

If we take a look at Mr. Blass’ record, not once he was correct in guessing details about important smartphones, like the HTC One M9, for example. Considering this, the launch date mentioned by him can be pretty much taken as granted.

Samsung’s wants to break a pattern

According to Forbes, if this turns out to be true, it would tie in perfectly with multiple speculations claiming that Samsung wants to launch the new flagship line-up one month earlier than what the market was used to.

To be more specific, both the S6 and S5 were launched somewhere in April, so Samsung would relatively take the tech world by surprise. Eventually, this launch date would also feet a leak from China Mobile, claiming that it will be introduced there in late February.

More details about the Samsung Galaxy S7 should be unveiled next month, on February 22nd, at the Mobile World Congress.
