Even though there are still a few days left until this year’s Black Friday, Amazon decided to start earlier this year, on Friday, November 20, with exactly one year before the official date of the ‘shopping festival’.

The ‘madness’ will begin earlier, so more chances to get what you want

According to USA Today, the retailer made the announcement this Wednesday, also mentioning that new deals will be added each five minutes, just as back in July, when Amazon celebrated Prime Day.

Starting on midnight of Thanksgiving, the company will start posting “Deals of the Day” on its website, with up to ten more deals coming on the actual Black Friday, as stated by the same source. Besides this, Amazon will also offer its traditional lightning deals. Prime subscribers will have a small advantage over regular customers, by getting a 30 minute head start on most of the deals.

Special prices for the Fire line-up

Over the next days, Amazon shoppers will see tons of discounts for the retailer’s own products, like $25 off Amazon Fire TV, a Kindle Paperwhite for just $99.99 or the new 7″ Fire Android-based tablet for just $34.99. These deals will be available even for those who don’t have a Prime account.

Even more, the rest of their Fire-branded products, like the Fire TV Stick with voice controlled remote or Fire Kids Edition tablet will also be available at discounted prices.

Moving on, Amazon will also offer huge discounts for TV sets, speakers, tablets, computers and other gadgets, like wearables, memory cards or USB flash drives.

Finally, the retailer is also looking forward to attracting more people to its mobile app on Black Friday. It will add over 150 ‘hand-picked’ Lightning Deals, exclusively for the app, in the “App Only Deals Section”, available between 6 PM ET to 2 AM ET, starting on Thanksgiving.
